Code of Conduct

Ethical and/or conduct code

Our company’s Ethical and/or Conduct Code is a set of principles and norms that guide our actions and relationships, both internally and with our clients, suppliers, and the general community. This code establishes the fundamental values that guide us, such as integrity, responsibility, respect, and transparency.

Integrity and Honesty
Act with honesty, transparency, and integrity in all work activities and relationships with colleagues.

Fair Competition and Compliance
Compete fairly and ethically in the market, without resorting to unfair practices such as defamation of competitors or breach of agreements.

Conflict of Interests
Avoid situations where a conflict of interest between personal and company interests might arise. Disclose any potential or real conflicts and take measures to resolve them fairly and transparently.

Equal Opportunities
Provide equal opportunities in employment and access to the company’s programs and services, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.

Non-discrimination
No form of discrimination will be tolerated in the workplace, including harassment and intimidation.

Prevention and action against workplace and sexual harassment

Games for a Living’s policy on harassment is zero tolerance. We commit to providing a safe and respectful work environment for all professionals, free from discrimination, harassment, and violence in any form.

Any behavior considered harassment, whether physical, verbal, or psychological, will be taken seriously and immediate actions will be taken to prevent its recurrence.

In addition, disciplinary actions will be taken against any employee found guilty of harassment, and necessary support will be provided to help victims overcome the consequences of harassment.

Procedure in Case of Workplace Harassment
Games for a Living has a secure and confidential communication channel (INTERNAL INFORMATION SYSTEM AND WHISTLEBLOWER PROTECTION POLICY “Whistleblowing”) managed directly by the external head of compliance. Employees can report any situation anonymously. We also have an external Data Protection Officer who will handle this issue with total discretion and confidentiality.

Professionals who identify any form of workplace harassment can report it through the internal information system or personally to the Compliance department (link).

Once a harassment report is received, an internal investigation will be carried out to determine the facts and gather additional information. This investigation will be confidential and will respect the rights of both the complainant and the alleged harasser.

If harassment is confirmed, appropriate actions will be taken, which could include disciplinary sanctions, harassment training, or termination.

Games for a Living commits to providing support and assistance to the complainant throughout the investigation and resolution process. This may include legal advice, psychological support, and measures to protect the complainant’s safety and privacy.

It is important to note that each harassment situation is unique and requires a personalized approach for resolution.
